I believe Life Insurance is serious business and should be part of a comprehensive financial plan, not a commodity sold for a commission, based on some industry guidelines of 20 times one’s income. After all, at the end of the day we are first and foremost in the “People Business”.

I am not a Certified Financial Planner or Investment Advisor, as much as my industry tries to get me to pretend to be. I do use an Income to Death Benefit Calculator and Income from Capital Analysis with clients that do not have the luxury of working with a CFP preferably a Fee Based Certified Financial Planner.

I gave them some examples and I became their trusted Life Insurance Advisor on the spot.
